Seasonal RV camping near Cleveland allows you to enjoy weekend getaways all season long—without towing and setup every trip. Below are answers to the most common questions about our seasonal RV sites at American Wilderness Campground.
What are your seasonal camping dates?
Our seasonal camping season runs from May 1 through October 15.
How long can I stay each month as a seasonal camper?
Seasonal campers stay less than 18 days per month. If you plan to stay more than 18 days per month, you may qualify as a Residential Seasonal, which includes an additional fee.
How many people and pets are included in the seasonal rate?
Your seasonal rate includes 2 adults, 2 children (17 and under), and 1 pet.
Are you pet-friendly?
Yes—we love pets. Pets must be on a leash at all times, and owners must clean up after them. Pets are not allowed on the swimming beach or inside any buildings.
Are there visitor or overnight guest fees?
Yes. We have low fees for visitors and overnight guests to help cover our costs. Seasonal campers do not pay extra for scheduled activities and events.
Are activities included for seasonal campers?
Yes—our weekend activities are included for seasonal campers. (Many campgrounds charge activity fees—we don’t.)
Is Wi-Fi included?
Yes, Wi-Fi is included via “Wi-Fi Guest” (no password required). Due to the trees, Wi-Fi is typically strongest near the front of the park, and we recommend bringing a mobile hotspot for the most reliable connection.
What utilities are included with seasonal sites?
Seasonal sites include city water and metered electric.
Do you have a dump station or pump-out service?
Yes. We offer a free dump station for all campers, and pump-out service is available for a low fee.
Do you offer winter storage?
Yes. Winter storage is available so you can leave your RV on your site for a low seasonal storage fee.
What is your golf cart policy?
We allow electric-only golf carts for licensed drivers at no additional fee. You must carry golf cart insurance and list American Wilderness Campground as additional interest on the policy.
Do you have quiet hours?
Yes. Quiet hours are 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
Do you allow fishing?
Yes. We have an 11-acre stocked fishing lake and fishing is catch-and-release.
Are there kid-friendly amenities and activities?
Absolutely. We offer planned activities every weekend (and most Fridays), and many families love our 8:00 PM hayride.
What types of seasonal sites do you offer?
We offer a variety of seasonal site locations—some on the lake, some shaded in the woods, and some open. Many sites are spacious with unique layouts in a rustic wilderness setting.
