2027 Seasonal Camping Open House

April 3–4, 2027 | Noon–5 PM Both Days

Join us for our annual Seasonal Camping Open House. Explore the campground, learn about seasonal camping opportunities, meet our team, and enjoy complimentary food and beverages.

The Open House takes place before the camping season begins May 1. Seasonal site availability is subject to confirmation.

Seasonal Camping & Campsite Details

What are your seasonal camping dates?

Our seasonal camping season runs from May 1 through October 15.

How long can I stay each month as a seasonal camper?

Seasonal campers stay fewer than 18 days per month. If you plan to stay more than 18 days per month, you may qualify as a Residential Seasonal, which includes an additional fee.

What types of seasonal sites do you offer?

We offer a variety of seasonal site locations, including lakefront, wooded, and open settings. Many campsites are spacious with unique layouts in our rustic wilderness environment. Contact us to learn about current opportunities.

How many people and pets are included in the seasonal rate?

The seasonal rate includes 2 adults, 2 children ages 17 and under, and 1 pet.

Are there visitor or overnight guest fees?

Yes. Visitor and overnight guest fees apply. Seasonal campers do not pay additional fees for scheduled campground activities and events.

Utilities, Services & Storage

What utilities are included with seasonal sites?

Seasonal sites include city water and metered electric.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes. Wi-Fi is available through the “Wi-Fi Guest” network without a password. Because of the trees, reception is generally strongest near the front of the campground. A mobile hotspot is recommended for more reliable connectivity.

Do you have a dump station or pump-out service?

Yes. Campers have access to a free dump station. Pump-out service is available for an additional fee.

Do you offer winter storage?

Yes. Winter RV storage is available so campers can leave their RVs on their sites for an additional seasonal storage fee.

Campground Life & Policies

Are you pet-friendly?

Yes. Pets must remain on a leash, and owners must clean up after them. Pets are not permitted on the swimming beach or inside campground buildings.

Are activities included for seasonal campers?

Yes. Scheduled weekend activities are included for seasonal campers without additional activity fees.

Are there kid-friendly amenities and activities?

Yes. American Wilderness offers playgrounds, outdoor recreation, planned weekend activities, and popular evening hayrides.

What is your golf cart policy?

Electric-only golf carts are permitted for licensed drivers at no additional fee. Golf cart insurance is required, and American Wilderness Campground must be listed as an additional interest on the policy.

Do you have quiet hours?

Yes. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Do you allow fishing?

Yes. The campground has an 11-acre stocked fishing lake. Fishing is catch-and-release.
